Trish Burchette

Executive Director

  

Trish Burchette is the Director of the A.C.T.I.O.N Coalition and the ARRC Recovery community organization. She is a certified Prevention Specialist and Recovery Coach as well as a Building Strong Brains trainer, Celebrating Families trainer and MRT certified trainer. 

Trish is a strong advocate for those in recovery as loosing her best friend to a 17 year struggle with opioid use disorder her passion is focusing on community wide prevention efforts and stigma reduction.


"Loosing my best friend in 2016 to suicide after he stated "he didn't know where to go to get help". It became my focus to ensure no one else in Johnson County ever had to make that statement.  The ACTION Recovery Resource Center is here to get you the help you need or to be that helping hand to walk with you in recovery" 

Alexa Owens

Program Coordinator

Tn. Certified Peer Recovery Support Specialist

  

Alexa is the Program Coordinator for the AARRC Recovery Community. As a person in long-term recovery, Alexa has made it her mission to walk alongside others seeking recovery. As a Recovery coach, and Tn. Certified Peer Recovery Support Specialist, Alexa works with those in recovery to help them develop skills for managing their recovery and move their life forward in a positive direction. Recovery is about progression not perfection. She is also a certified MRT facilitator and QPR Gatekeeper. 

Jennifer Street

Hybrid LifeLine Coordinator

Jennifer is the Region 1N Hybrid Lifeline Coordinator working for A.C.T.I.O.N Coalition/AARRC in Mountain City, TN. I cover Carter and Johnson Counties. My role  includes increasing resource access for individuals that struggle with substance  use disorder, coordinating community forums, and conducting trainings to reduce stigma related to the disease of addiction. "I am in long-term recovery and  being able to use my story to help others in their journey of recovery is one the  biggest blessings I've been given".  


Jeff Cope

Workforce Project Coordinator


Jeff, as our Workforce Project Coordinator, provides support, develops relationships, and leads activities related to workforce services, training, and retention in a variety of settings for those who are justice involved and those in recovery with substance use disorders - helping overcome barriers to gainful employment. In his role, he acts as a liaison, facilitator, and intermediary with our partners and other organizations, implementing grant requirements, and improving workplace culture.

Christan Wilson

Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS)

  Hello, my name is Christan Wilson! I consider myself a person in long term  recovery from substance use disorder (SUDs) and mental health. I have 5  years in recovery! I'm also a mother of 5 beautiful children. Today, I recover  out loud so others don't su fer in silence. My passion is to support others in  their journey of we lness and recovery. I share my journey openly in hopes to  inspire others who struggle with addiction and or mental health that recovery  is possible!! YOU ARE WORTH IT!!! 


Kelsie Mink

Harm Reduction/Naloxone coordinator


As the naloxone program coordinator, Kelsie works to ensure naloxone is readily available at no cost to those in need of this lifesaving medication. She is available to do outreach events and can provide valuable information about naloxone its benefits and how to use it.

Ashlee Crouse

Chair

   

Ashlee is the point of contact for the faith community in establishing recovery programs for the east region. She provides training and educational presentations, as well as coordination of special events. Ashlee has a passion for helping others find a path to recovery and gain the skills to sustain their journey.

She is a Certified Peer Recovery Specialist, a CCAR Certified Recovery Coach/Facilitator, a QPR Gatekeeper Instructor, a Mental Health First Aide Facilitator, and a Triumph Over Trauma Facilitator. Ashlee is an individual in long term recovery and uses her experience to share hope with others. She previously served as a TN Recovery Navigator.

 

Jeanie Beach

Community Engagement partner

  

As a person in long term recovery Jeanie has a passionate heart for setting an example for others of how her faith and determination have helped her find the right path for her recovery. Jeanie is a recovery coach and brings a genuine heart to see others succeed at walking in recovery. 

Tabitha Edwards, M.Ed Executive Director, Recovery Resources TN Certified Family Support Specialist

 I am a native of Carter County, East Tennessee, deeply connected to these mountains and committed to healing our communities from the impacts of addiction. As a person in long-term recovery with personal experience in jails and institutions, I co-founded Recovery Resources TN in 2018 with two friends. Our aim was to create a supportive non-profit for those entering recovery. My passion is to help individuals thrive in recovery and become their best selves. I seek to find ways to improve community services so that all people have an opportunity to pursue recovery as they choose! 

Stephin Dunn, participant liason

As a participant in our recovery program, Stephin has demonstrated a strong desire to help others find their path forward in their recovery walk. He has been instrumental in bringing light to recovery in our community and is a testament to what hard work and determination can bring to your life. He is now in a position to give back to his community and is working toward opening his own sober living home and leads All Recovery meetings through the ARRC. 

Kim Alexander homeless prevention coordinator, community partner, AmeriCorp represtative.

 Kim is the intake coordinator for the Appalachian Regional Coalition on Homelessness for Johnson County. As a person in recovery she has experienced first hand the difficulties and challenges in finding a personal recovery path. She brings a compassion and understanding to helping others along their journey to recovery.
